Weaver of the Web came to be when a spider spun an enormous web across a path in my back yard. My son and his cousin were madly running around and I knew that web wouldn't survive for long.
So I got a large panel, painted the background on it, and while the paint was wet, I sprayed the web gold and then walked the panel into the web. It is preserved in the painting!
