The original piece, Beloved, was painted from a photograph of my daughter and my week-old granddaughter. I improvised with the clothing and fabric wrap. The original is three-quarters life-sized and is a mixed-media piece on paper. I used acrylic paint, paper collage pieces on the ribbon and baby wrap, pastel, and ink.
The original lives within our family now but it is available as a print as it has become a favorite with my collectors.
